Nor Metals, a major precious metal recycling company is seeking to hire a Business and Communications Development Manager for their fundraising organization, The Heart of Gold Project. We are looking for an individual to join a fast-paced growing company and take on new exciting challenges.
The perfect candidate must be creative, self-motivated, and passionate about marketing and business development. This candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, professionalism, and dependability. Because we are expanding rapidly, this position offers extensive room for growth.
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have a passion for marketing and business development.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Excel and PowerPoint is preferred).
• Strong communication abilities: oral, written, and presentation Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• High degree of professionalism at all times.
• Understand market trends and current organizational strategies.
• Desire to learn and grow.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Demonstrated team player with a strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated, high energy and positive attitude
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Must be trustworthy and reliable.
• Proven ability to network and build rapport.
• Possess strong negotiation, and closing skills.
• Non-profit or charity experience is a plus but not required.
• College degree or equivalent. (international business, marketing, communications, or similar college degree is preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:
• Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer of the organization to formulate strategic processes.
• Creating proposals and sales contracts.
• Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.
• Meeting and keeping in contact with existing and potential clients.
• Execute individual business plan to exceed revenue goals.
• Deliver organized, structured, and persuasive presentations, using effective written and verbal communication.
• Plan and execute a daily schedule of onsite/offsite appointments.
• Managing major donor relationships and all donor communications.
• Act as main point of contact for all inquiries for the organization's services.
• Occasionally attend networking events and conferences to cultivate a pipeline.
• Come with an upbeat attitude, willing and able to learn and stay professional at all times.
• Perform other duties or special projects as needed.
