Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer (ID) to join our team immediately. The SID will design high-quality curriculum and instructional materials for federal government clients, primarily within the environmental domain. This position is based in Tysons Corner, Virginia, with some flexibility for remote work. The ideal candidate will have experience in needs analysis, course design, and curriculum development. Candidates who can independently develop high-quality courses will be given preference.

Responsibilities:
- Instructional Design: Develop and design effective, engaging instructional materials for a variety of platforms, focusing on online and hybrid formats, with some in-person content.
- Curriculum Development: Use expertise in needs assessment and curriculum development to create instructional content that meets the specific needs of federal clients.
- Project Management: Lead instructional design projects from concept to completion, ensuring materials meet client standards and timelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other EnDyna team members, client representatives, and subject matter experts to produce high-quality learning experiences.
- Client Engagement: Engage with federal government customers, including USEPA, to understand training needs and translate them into instructional design projects.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all training materials align with adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master's in Instructional Design or related field (Master's or higher preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years in designing eLearning instructional materials, particularly for federal government agencies.
- Experience designing curriculum on environmental topics, especially for USEPA, is a strong plus.
- Proven experience leading small teams or projects in a government contracting setting.
- Ability to independently manage instructional design from needs assessment through to the final product.
- Skills:
- Strong expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design models, and needs analysis.
- Proficient in various instructional design tools and technologies.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on course development experience.
- Prior experience working with government contractors and federal clients.
