Overview

We are at the crest of two cultural waves, the transition to clean renewable energy and the adoption of induction cooking. We need a strategically savvy and tactically creative content marketer to help more Americans find their place in these great shifts.

Specifically, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for producing and publishing outward-facing content and communications campaigns. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Manager will work closely with the design and customer success teams to tell stories that inspire people to make the switch to induction cooking.

What you'll do
  • Conceive, produce, and publish stories about the joys of electrified cooking, energy storage, and home electrification.
  • Run the regular management of the Copper social media and email marketing.
  • Maintain and update the Copper website.
  • Engage deeply with customers to create user stories to share with a wide audience.
  • With the rest of the commercial team, help plan a channel strategy for content development and publication.
  • Work with contractors for video, photo, audio, and written content production.
  • Support the Copper team in telling their personal stories on social media and in presentations.

What you'll bring

  • Proven ability in creating digital communication strategy.
  • Experience creating and executing communications campaigns using a variety of tactics and toolsets.
  • Exceptional writing ability.
  • Demonstrated success running social media and email marketing campaigns using different brand voices.
  • Experience working with video, photo, and graphics producers to deliver memorable results
  • Scientific mindset, treating each communications touch point as a chance to learn and improve.


Location

This is an in-office role that is on site 4 days per week minimum with 1 days flexible for in-office or remote work. Our office is located in Berkeley, CA.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $89,000 - $116,000 per year. We are committed to equitable compensation, and we offer a generous benefits package to make sure you have the support you need. We cover 100% of the premiums for our employees and 50% of the premiums for their dependents on our base plans for medical, dental, and vision insurance. We offer a 401(k) plan for employees to contribute to, in addition to many other benefits. Every employee, regardless of gender identity or expression, is eligible for 16 weeks of paid parental leave after three months of employment (eight weeks through Channing Copper and eight weeks CA Paid Family Leave).
