Media and Promotions Assistant


Reports to: AGM, Marketing


Job Description:
• Operate videoboard during game and manage pressbox staff to keep on script
• Manage video content, editing raw footage from handheld camera into organized clips
• Assist the promotions department with pre-game prep including gathering promo props for on-fields, preparing nightly prizes and contestant slips, and other miscellaneous tasks
• Aid in coming up with ideas on how to execute theme nights and in-between innings activities and research relevant trivia or game materials
• Keep press box and promotions shed organized and manage inventory of prizes and props
• Create playlists and download relevant sound clips for theme nights and other events at the stadium
• Schedule, manage, promote and attend mascot appearances throughout the community
• Market theme nights locally and help get word out about events
• Assist in answering phones, taking phone ticket orders, walk-in ticket sales
• Help with the organizing and promoting of the community programs
• Other task and duties as assigned, including dressing up as the mascot, going on appearances and attending community events

Qualifications:
• Strong communication skills and customer service.
• Must be well organized and flexible to meet time, priority and workload demands.
• Must be able to lift, pull push and/or carry 30 pounds as necessary.
• Ability to stand, sit and walk for up to 6-8 hours.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Team player
