Marketing Coordinator - Entertainment

SUMMARY

The Marketing team is looking for a well-organized, creative and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator. This position will be a key contributor to marketing initiatives including digital content, advertising, social media campaigns, influencer campaigns, event marketing, sales materials, mailings, promotions and fan engagement. This position will focus on entertainment products including tabletop games, entertainment trading cards and gallery prints.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with product, design and other cross functional teams to develop and deliver campaigns and product announcements, driving excitement for entertainment brands
  • Help facilitate asset ideation, creation and execution, including approval process
  • Manage social media and advertising calendars, and assets required to activate
  • Support design and execution of regular outbound campaigns including assistance with email blasts, press releases and product announcements
  • Create fresh entertainment related content to regularly update company website
  • Contribute editorial to blog and assist with other editorial needs
  • Assist with ideation and production of printed assets, including catalogs, box toppers, print ads, CDD kits, presentations, promos, etc
  • Track and maintain inventory of all marketing materials, including promos
  • Assist with managing influencer lists, influencer shipping, and results tracking
  • Help research and source new influencers
  • Assist with building and maintaining Volunteer Alliance and brand ambassadors
  • Assist with events, including signage, digital assets and content, social, contests, etc
  • Act as a marketing ambassador between Production, Brand and Marketing teams
  • Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance
  • Assist with compiling and reporting of key marketing metrics and analytics
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • 1-3 Years of marketing experience
  • Tabletop Gaming industry experience a plus
REQUIREMENTS

  • Solid research and analytical skills
  • Creative, problem solver, detail oriented
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite: Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Experience creating and/or editing videos is a plus
  • Photoshop or Illustrator experience is a plus
  • Solid knowledge in all relevant social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc
  • Experience with WordPress Blog publishing a plus
  • Ability to interface with internal and external parties at all levels
  • Ability to perform duties under minimal supervision while exercising discretion and independent judgment
  • Hands on, energetic and motivated self-starter
WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position would work full-time out of the Carlsbad office.
