WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Position Title, you will:
- Oversee the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
- Build and manage the association's e-mail calendar and organizational workflows
- Create templates and develops, tests and deploys marketing e-mails for the association
- Design and automate dynamic content and personalization strategies for complex email journeys and drip and nurturing campaigns to enhance engagement and drive conversions, including triggers, decision splits, and automation rules to optimize email journey performance
- Understand and influence the design of lead flow, pipeline generation, and marketing automation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud that will maximize the impact of campaigns
- Manage the list segmentation process for email campaign deployment, including pulling lists from Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Personify
- Support strategy and implementation of marketing tools, technologies, and platforms to deliver business objectives, including closed loop analytics across web, social media, and email
- Own homepage marketing web content and oversees web analytics and landing page design and execution. Will work closely the association's leadership to ensure that the marketing strategy aligns with the organization's broader strategic plan and goals
- Guide social media strategy working in tandem with Social Media Manager
- Manage digital advertising including search and display channels (PPC, programmatic display, retargeting social, etc.)
- Oversee APhA's YouTube and other digital accounts. Uploads webinars, events, and other recording as necessary
- Lead the analytics and reporting functions in digital marketing campaigns with a focus on optimization
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
APhA may be the right fit for you have:
Experience and Education required:
- A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or business is required. Advance degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in marketing and communication or related field/s
Skills, knowledge and abilities required:
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud required
- Extensive experience implementing and working within other CRMs and marketing technologies such as Adestra, Asana, Canva, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Google Ads, major SEO platforms and all major social media platforms (both organic and paid)
- Proven work experiences in digital marketing (nonprofit association a plus)
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing digital marketing campaigns using SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media, retargeting and/or display advertising
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, including setting up tracking codes, configuring goals, and using advanced features like segmentation, filters, and custom reports
- Experience with Google Tag Manager for managing and deploying marketing tags
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS to troubleshoot and implement tracking codes
- Familiarity with JavaScript for more advanced tracking implementations
- Experience with integrating and maintaining closed loop analytics between various systems such as a website, social media accounts, and email platforms, ensuring data flows seamlessly and insights are derived effectively
- Proficiency in tools like Tableau, or Power BI for creating dashboards and visual reports
- Understands the customer behavior and the ability to map and analyze the customer journey
- Able to learn other emerging platforms and tools if chosen to be implemented by the organization
- Creative problem solver with attention to detail

- Strong, confident presenter and communicator with superb English written communication, copywriting and proofreading skills
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Experience in the implementation of data and analytics strategies and how to pull actionable insights from the data and analytics
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
- Strong interpersonal skills; experience working across different teams to inform and produce content for various channels and mediums
- Strong project management, multitasking and decision-making skills
- Metrics-driven mind with eye for creativity and design
