Position Summary Details

As a Manager of Strategic Marketing, your work will be the glue that binds our brand and innovation strategy to the external tactics we need to drive success in Sales and Marketing and achieve results.

Our marketing team is creative, collaborative and passionate about what we do. We're looking for a Manager of Strategic Marketing to join our team to help drive awareness, engagement and adoption of our provider and health plan/payer offerings. Working closely with the marketing, sales, product marketing/management, and the leadership team, you will drive strategic campaigns and activations including messaging, content, development of sales/partner/customer enablement materials, and lead generation initiatives for Xsolis' offerings.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Understand the competitive landscape and their positioning and messaging to create differentiated, compelling strategic campaigns and content.
  • Understand our buyer's process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing content and deliverables based on what you learn.
  • Contribute to and execute against a demand generation focused marketing plan for the in-market. launched products and services you support in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing and Product Management to place newly launched offerings into the marketing plan driving external promotions.
  • Develop promotional material, email marketing campaigns and collateral resource library to support assigned business/product/services. Responsible for all digital assets, including websites.
  • Implement and manage effective demand generation strategy by persona including webinar, tradeshow and conference organization, content and approach working across the Marketing team to execute.
  • Partner closely with Senior Leaders and clients to drive content for paid presentations and activations.
  • Work with Marketing team to assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs on an ongoing basis, and implement improvements to marketing programs based on results.
  • Understand and support our sales channels; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use them.
  • Willing and able to "Roll up sleeves" and execute plans with minimal support and guidance from others. Must tactically execute!
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • 5+ years of applicable professional B-to-B marketing experience spanning in-person and digital events, digital marketing, advertising, and content development with an invested interest in omni-channel, strategic marketing programs
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing OR equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Healthcare marketing experience
  • Extremely Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot a plus
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is -or isn't-working
  • Highly effective communicator through email, phone, video, and in person
  • Must be comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!
Working Environment and Travel Requirements
  • Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks.
  • Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. No significant stooping is usually required.
