Being our Senior Events Marketing Manager at iManage Means...

You will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of a world-class events program to drive brand awareness, engage customers and prospects, and support business growth. You will be responsible for orchestrating both large-scale global conferences and intimate, targeted events for a variety of audiences, including enterprise customers, partners, and industry influencers.

You are a data-driven, creative, results-oriented leader who excels at managing teams and fostering collaboration across departments in a high-growth fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. You are prepared to roll up your sleeves and handle tactical or administrative tasks to ensure the success of each event.

iM Responsible For...

  • Event Strategy: Leading the development and execution of the global event strategy including virtual, in-person and hybrid formats. Aligning with business objectives, brand positioning and revenue goals. Overseeing events managed by the events team, additionally providing guidance, and event support for events executed by other departments including Field and Demand Generation to ensure consistency, effective coordination and goal alignment.
  • Event Portfolio Management: Managing a comprehensive calendar of events, including industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, partner events, and company-hosted experiences.
  • Event Agenda & Content Creation: Collaborating with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop compelling, relevant event agendas that address key industry trends, customer challenges, and product innovations.
  • Thought Leadership: Curating a diverse range of speakers, including company executives, industry experts, parnters and customer success stories to delivery high-value content that resonates with the target audience and region. This includes events managed by your team, as well as speaking opportunities for 3rd party sponsored events and earned through leadership sessions globally to ensure consistent strategic representation of the company.
  • End-to-End Execution Ownership: Overseeing all event logistics, from concept through execution and post-event evaluation, including venue selection, speaker coordination, agenda design, content creation, and vendor management. Closely managing any sub-contracted event management agencies to ensure delivery of events to standards. Being hands-on at the event working with the team to ensure best-in-class execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering closely with sales, demand generation, field marketing, product marketing, and partner teams to ensure event goals and content align with overall business priorities.
  • Brand Experience: Collaborating with Product Marketing and Brand Teams to develop a comprehensive message matrix, and event themes that can be used consistently throughout the year. Ensuring that every event reflects our brand values and delivers a premium, engaging experience for all attendees.
  • Budget Management: Owning and managing the events budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maximizing impact.
  • Performance & ROI Tracking: Leveraging data and analytics to measure event success and improve future event performance, reporting on KPIs such as lead generation, pipeline contribution, and attendee satisfaction. Defining the Event Scorecard - rolled up and per event and ensure this is maintained across all events, regardless of ownership.
  • Team Leadership: Building, managing, and mentoring a high-performing events team, including internal staff and external vendors/agencies, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Being a key partner to Field, Demand and other teams executing on event activity, to support and provide your event knowledge and expertise to enhance global event activity.
iM Qualified Because I Have...
  • 8+ years of experience in events management, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology environment, with a proven track record of delivering impactful events.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role, managing teams, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • The ability to develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events, deadlines, and teams and think on their feet during an event to manage any and all eventualities that may arise during the event.
  • A Demonstrated ability to manage large event budgets efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficiency in event management platforms, virtual event technology, CRM systems (Salesforce), and marketing automation tools (Marketo).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and strategies effectively to senior leadership.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for designing unique, engaging, and memorable event experiences.
  • A hands-on approach ready to tackle both strategic and tactical tasks as needed for the success of the event.

Travel & Special Note:
  • This role would require travel to events, and will involve unsociable hours in order to support events logistics, set up.

The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $140,000-$216,000. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits. Your recruiter will provide further details about the offer range, incentives, and overall compensation during the hiring process.
