SUMMARY
In coordination with the Marketing Department, this position will assist with promoting all INTRUST Bank Arena events through advertising campaigns, will manage all aspects of email marketing, the arena's website and be a marketing contact for arena tenants. This position will also manage the arena's marketing internship program.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises interns in the Marketing Department in accordance with ASM Global's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and training interns, planning assigning and directing projects, appraising performance at the conclusion of each semester.
SKILLS REQUIRED
This is a fast-paced office. Ideal candidates will have music knowledge, show marketing experience, familiarity with the market, a thick skin and able to work at a fast pace.

Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
Physical Demands:
This position requires personal mobility for getting around the facility. Must be able to use a computer, write, type; and use phone and cell phone. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maximize ticket sales for all events using all assets available. Must have excellent communication with marketing, box office and booking staff.
- Develop and implement integrated event marketing plans for ticketed events, tenant teams and SMG Special Events including advertising, promotion, grassroots and public relations.
- Manage and negotiate media buys and trade promotions on behalf of the show promoters.
- Manage multiple advertising budgets and prepare show settlement information for event advertising.
- Manage all INTRUST Bank Arena e-mail marketing communications, including list management, content management and campaign execution.
- Oversee the venue's website, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Manage venue's press release database including creation and execution of all press releases and actively seek opportunities to receive publicity from building operations, activities, awards/honors, etc. to share with local, regional or national media and/or ASM Global Corporate.
- Create partnerships and nurture relationships with third party partners in the market.
- Research and follow current music marketing trends, venue marketing efforts and implement best practices in the day-to-day activation.
- Execute graphic design and creative projects in Photoshop in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner for various marketing promotions.
- Collaborate with various departments to assist with marketing, advertising or graphic design needs.
- Manage all digital venue advertising by manipulating artwork in Photoshop and ensuring that all assets are up-to-date and accurate.
- Be one of the department's main contact with arena tenants to coordinate all venue marketing support.
- Manage and coordinate press related duties during events including TV station coverage, photographers and reviewers.
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise interns within the Marketing Department to assist in the development and implementation of all marketing aspects for events.
- Support the coordinating and developing efforts to enhance Backstage and Fan Experience at INTRUST Bank Arena events.
- Position requires the ability to work at all ASM Global facilities in Wichita.
- Regular attendance is an essential job function.

- Graphic design experience required with working knowledge of Photoshop.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and details simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to think "outside the box" and come up with creative ideas to set INTRUST Bank Arena apart from other venues.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with promoters, media users, employees, and the general public.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and orally.
- Organized with strong time-management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrate high energy level with a positive attitude, motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Operate Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other related office programs.
- Ability to work long, irregular hours as dictated by programming including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to respond in a timely fashion during normal business hours, after hours and on weekends.
- Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the state of Kansas.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- College degree required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in marketing/advertising, live entertainment marketing preferred.
