About the Role
The Company is in search of a Director of Sales and Marketing to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of sales professionals, developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, and driving alignment and performance across sales and marketing functions. This role requires a hands-on leader with a player/coach mentality, who can actively participate in key deals while also mentoring the team. The Director will be expected to collaborate cross-functionally to enhance product development, customer experience, and retention strategies, as well as to implement data-driven approaches to optimize all go-to-market activities. Applicants for the Director of Sales and Marketing position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 10 years of successful sales leadership in B2B SaaS, and a minimum of 5 years of general management and P&L experience. A proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, and partnerships is essential. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern sales methodologies, strong proficiency in Salesforce CRM, and experience with marketing automation tools. Strong analytical skills, the ability to lead and develop teams, and a hands-on approach to sales and marketing are also key qualifications for this role. The Director will be expected to scale the sales and marketing organization, refine sales methodologies, and execute marketing strategies that improve lead generation, conversion rates, and bookings.
