Our comprehensive pharmaceuticals portfolio contains injectables (including ready-to-administer products), inhaled gases and compounded medications, and is designed to expand access to products that simplify medication preparation and support patient safety.The North America pharmaceutical market is significant, profitable, and still growing. We are a leader in hospital products with a portfolio of differentiated premix injectables and generic injectable products and are focused on expanding our Product Portfolio by bringing multiple new products to market each year.This role will manage and implement our Pharma’s launch strategy for upcoming launches. The role requires an experienced and entrepreneurial marketer with a solid understanding of launches, capable of contributing to various marketing areas.Drive pre-commercialization efforts and launch execution for assigned products including marketing/tactical plans and pricing strategy with the goal of growing market share and revenues.Work closely with sales teams to drive customer product awareness and adoptionSource and provide market feedback and deploy tactical plans to enhance the value of product portfolio through product launch and life cycle management.Develop marketing strategy for each channel, analyze external environment, market trends, customer behavior to produce forecasts for new launches.Develop annual sales forecast, the latest outlook and 5-year view of strategic plan. Prepare product forecast in collaboration with Finance, Regulatory, Sales, Supply Chain, IP, BD, Global Marketing & Portfolio teams.Drive product management for assigned product portfolio, track product sales performance, forecast demand, allocate inventory, and ensure adjustment of production and pricing accordingly.Conduct secondary research on products, customers and competitors, therapeutic risks, and opportunities; monitor FDA, industry, product, and competitor development; generate data-based report for decisions on product management as well as new product selection.Plan product promotion tactics, develop the scheme, forms, methods and technology of promotion (action plan, media plan), and implement within budget.Prioritize resources and activities towards the excellence and establish the appropriate processes and critical metrics to implement and track, reporting progress and insights regularly to key partners involved.What you'll bringBachelor’s degree required; business (BA/BS) or Life Sciences preferred; MBA preferred.10+ years of relevant business and/or marketing experience with strong experience in launching generic or other hospital injectables products. Experience launching branded 505 (b)(2)s is a highly preferred.Broad understanding of US pharmaceutical industry including IP, regulatory, supply chain, quality, technical operations, compliance, commercial operations, market access, pricing and contracting, and medical.Solid understanding of pharmaceutical data sources e.g. IQVIA, Symphony, FDA etc.Promotional marketing experience including digital marketingAbility to understand complex issues and their implications even if limited information is available.Experience influencing cross-functional teams and partnering successfully in a highly matrixed environment.Baxter is committed to supporting the needs for flexibility in the workplace. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $160,000 - 220,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive.
