The Senior Broadcast Engineer is responsible for the productions operating system and overseeing the technical aspects of "At Home" productions. The Engineer works as the EIC in a post/live facility in order to service the engineering needs of clients involved in the live production of radio and television shows.

The Senior Broadcast Engineer is responsible for the productions operating system and overseeing the technical aspects of "At Home" productions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the day-to-day engineering duties and maintenance of equipment for "At Home" productions.
- Use knowledge and expertise to build and program "At Home" shows, in collaboration with Broadcast Engineers.
- Configure and patch connections between microphones, amplifiers, fiber transmitters, telephone lines, and auxiliary power supplies to relay broadcast material to master control.
- Use knowledge and expertise to test and troubleshoot equipment prior to broadcast.
- Run and maintain control room, studios and other parts of the Broadcast facility .
- Execute switcher programming, audio console programming, intercom programming, and other necessary live broadcast programming.
- Maintain communication channels in order to quickly identify and resolve problems and/or broadcast interruptions.
- Provide technical support for the IT and other Engineering Departments.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school and a minimum of six (6) years of broadcast engineering and transmissions experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with satellite provider, television stations, and/or remote mobile unit company preferred.
- Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.
- Proficient in both PC and MAC platforms.
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of RTS Intercom systems, HD Video and audio routers, and knowledge of Grass Valley and other production switchers.
- Basic understanding of how IT interacts with broadcast areas and the ability to work thru basic system issues.
- Knowledge of broadcast equipment such as scopes, routers, camera systems, multi viewer monitor systems, EVS, etc.
- Strong IT base as it relates to broadcast, NDI, Dante, and 2110 standards.
