About the Role:
We are seeking a creative, savvy, and versatile Social Media Manager to manage our New York channels and collaborate on our Global social strategy. This role will be pivotal in shaping the brand's voice and presence across the US, and we are seeking someone with a passion for theatre, culture, and new media trends.
You will oversee social strategies that connect with audiences in authentic ways while keeping an eye on the latest emerging technologies, platforms, and trends. Whether it's creating buzz around a Broadway premiere, generating conversation on TikTok, or deepening connections with our community through Instagram, you'll be at the forefront of how we engage with culturally curious audiences. The ideal candidate thrives in both strategy and execution.
Our social team is dedicated to using our online community and platforms to continue to "find a seat for everyone," and to use our social channels to connect the culturally curious to the right experiences for them. If this resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you!
Please note: this is a full-time position and qualified candidates must be based in the greater New York City area. We encourage collaboration by working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, while also offering flexibility for employees to choose where they work for the rest of the week.
What You'll Do:
We're Looking For Someone With:
$75,000 - $90,000 a year
Salary ranges are determined by competitive market data for our size, stage, and industry, experience and location of the applicant, and our internal salary banding, which is reviewed at least annually.
We aim to be as transparent, equitable, and fair as possible. Qualified candidates and our Talent Acquisition team will discuss salary and benefits in the initial conversation, and final salary will be determined after candidates complete the interview process. We expect that the majority of candidates who are offered roles at TTG fall healthily throughout the range based on the above factors.

What You'll Do:
- Manage and oversee TTG's social media presence across key platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook
- Develop, execute, and optimize social media strategies in collaboration with the London and US marketing teams to support campaigns, sales initiatives, and brand partnerships
- Own day-to-day content creation-including written posts, graphics, video, and briefing assets for our creative studio team-for various channels, with a strong focus on video-first platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Monitor and engage with our community, responding to customer inquiries via DMs and comments across all platforms
- Produce and direct on-site video shoots in collaboration with show partners and talent, ensuring content captures the essence of the production and resonates with audiences
- Analyze social performance using social listening tools and other analytics platforms, reporting insights and making data-informed recommendations for continuous growth
- Stay ahead of social media trends and proactively identify opportunities to introduce new content formats, tools, and platform features into our strategy
- Collaborate across departments to align messaging with overall marketing initiatives and ensure consistent brand storytelling across all touchpoints
We're Looking For Someone With:
- 5+ years of social media experience in the entertainment space, with at least 3 of those years driving the strategy
- A robust knowledge of the theatre industry including its history, current productions and key players
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, an eye for copy, and a talent for quippy, concise, social-led language
- An in-depth understanding of the landscape of current shows on and off Broadway, as well as working knowledge of the global theatrical landscape, including London
- An eye for culture, and the desire to connect audiences to culture through social storytelling
- Passion for idea-generation and creative thinking
- The ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and work efficiently and independently sometimes under strict deadlines
- Interest in and desire for collaborative brainstorming and sharing creative ideas across teams
- An ability to pivot and adapt based on unexpected changes in the social landscape or our goals at TodayTix Group
- Discretion and understanding of the often-confidential nature of aspects of working in our industry
