Who we need
Reporting to the Director, Data Science, we are looking for a Manager, Marketing Science Operations to take ownership for a function that bridges data science and marketing. You will play a critical role in managing the data infrastructure, analytics tools, and processes, enabling the scale of high quality campaign marketing at Scene+. You will lead collaboration across marketing science, member engagement, and client delivery, resulting in successful campaign initiatives. You will create actionable insights and optimize marketing performance
This is a hybrid role, working 5 days over a 2 week period in the office.

You will:
- Drive strategy and insights. You will uncover actionable insights that inform marketing strategies, creative approaches, and channel optimization. You will develop reporting tools and dashboards to provide stakeholders with clear visibility into key performance metrics, enhancing decision-making.
- Enhance operational efficiency. You will oversee the development and implementation of scalable marketing operations processes that support rapid growth, focusing on efficiency and maximizing team productivity. You will ensure that marketing teams have seamless access to the information they need for campaigns, customer insights, and performance tracking.
- Foster cross-team collaboration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data collection, analysis, and interpretation, ensuring insights are impactful and actionable. You will collaborate on defining core metrics, setting objectives, and crafting strategies that drive marketing success and optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Lead with vision. You will provide operational leadership by continuously evaluating and refining processes to maintain a high standard of data accessibility and quality, helping the marketing team operate at peak performance.
- Manage initiatives. You will apply project management skills to oversee campaign-related data tasks, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and drive timely completion. You will evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance campaign efficiency.
- Verify quality assurance. You will work with data engineering to automate data delivery for campaigns, ensuring timely, reliable access to key data points. You will conduct quality assurance checks to verify data accuracy and prevent workflow disruptions.
You have:
- The background. You have expertise in bridging marketing and data. You have an operational mindset and a strong business acumen. You may be coming from a marketing agency or a large corporation such as a bank, major media, or telecom company. You have built your marketing science experience working on data teams in marketing campaign execution and campaign analytics.
- The analytical experience. You have a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, recognize patterns, and make data-driven decisions that influence strategy. You can apply your analytical skills to ensure the right data is used effectively to optimize and implement processes and that your insights are shared in ways that drive action and measurable results.
- The project management skills. You come with insights and best practices to optimize processes and increase effectiveness. You are deadline-driven and highly organized. You can balance priorities, change direction based on shifting needs, and manage multiple complex demands simultaneously. You have a results-oriented mindset and can set performance goals and metrics.
- The technical skills. You can learn new tools independently and quickly. You are proficient in MS Office. You have a solid foundation using Python/Pyspark for data science, writing complex SQL queries to extract and integrate data from multiple database sources. Ideally, you have worked with Salesforce Data Cloud. You have a proven ability to build tools for monitoring.
- The interpersonal skills. You can nurture relationships across teams and influence without authority. You have professional communication skills, including translating complex analytics concepts and the confidence to present to different audiences and levels.

- A virtual interview with a Talent Advisor discussing your interest in the role and the company and how you will make an impact as our new Manager, Marketing Science Operations.
- An interview with the Director, Data Science, preceded by a case study assignment. During this 1-hour time slot, you will present your case study analysis and answer questions. You will have the chance to learn more about the team and to share your experience. It's a chance to ask questions about the company and the role.
- An interview with the Marketing Director, Member Engagement, to share why you are interested in joining Scene+ in this role, share more about your experience and understand how the role fits into the marketing deliverables of the company.
