Director of Digital Marketing Strategy

As the Director of Digital Marketing Strategy, you are responsible for achieving operational efficiency and excellence in execution by building, using, and monitoring processes and tools that improve the Marketing Team's function for our website team and digital properties. This role requires an understanding of content management systems, search engine optimization (SEO), paid digital advertising, mobile marketing, and modern digital trends and methodologies.
The chosen person will be skilled at analytics, able to tell stories through data, develop strong key performance indicators (KPIs), and help push the bank forward for growth on the corporate websites and digital channels. Finally, we would like the chosen person to demonstrate an ability to follow website best practices and have a history of working with marketing teams, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Marketing Team Management:
Responsibilities include managing the website, project plans, establishing deadlines, and handling delivery timelines. You will also play a key role in creating and improving operational processes and identifying improvements to content management tools and other systems, with an eye on ease of use, speed to market, and best-in-class customer experience across web and app digital platforms.
A successful candidate in this role will be comfortable managing multiple priorities at a time and have strong communication and collaboration skills. You will be required to work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and coordination of brand guidelines and messaging to deliver successful marketing campaigns. You will be critical in delivering effective and engaging customer communications across various digital marketing channels while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive key business objectives.
Create clear and detailed deployment of website plans to support four lines of business strategies, including production timelines, live dates, segmentation details, customer experience, and associated creative.
Your team will provide training and support to internal stakeholders on effectively using marketing tools and platforms to maximize their understanding and utilization.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in marketing operations and recommend process improvements and technology enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
You will guide the team in improving and monitoring processes to gain/maintain efficiencies while reducing cost, cycle times, and cross-team goals and effectiveness.
Lead and inspire a team of business analysts, web designers, analytics specialists, and content creators to drive a best-in-class digital marketing program. You will need to foster an environment of creativity and collaboration.
Manage the content management system and vendor for front-end websites, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
Work with programmers and developers, both internal and external, to implement digital marketing strategies and ensure seamless integration with website functionalities.
Hold self and colleagues accountable for delivering results.
You will be responsible for leading a creative team to develop and implement a robust content strategy across various platforms to engage target audiences, build brand awareness, and generate leads. You will oversee content creation, distribution, and performance analysis.
Digital Strategy:
Drive the evolution and strategic direction of the company's corporate websites
Oversee KPI framework for all digital assets, the planning and execution of all digital marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives. Most notably, you will oversee the website strategy and roadmap.
Lead SEO team, strategies, and data analysis of behavioral and website traffic.
Working with a third-party agency, you will help plan and execute paid digital campaigns across various platforms, optimizing for maximum ROI on the strategic business lines.
Monitor and analyze all digital campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve results.
Collaborate with vendors and third parties to develop and maintain an ongoing reporting cadence for all paid/organic marketing initiatives. You must inform management of digital initiatives and how they contribute to the strategic company goals.
As a senior leader on the marketing team, you will influence how we shape the company for the future.
A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Web Strategy, or a related field with preferably 10+ years of professional experience.
Google certifications are a plus.
Understanding of marketing automation platforms, personalization, and how they integrate with web properties is a plus.
Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Director, Manager, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of content management systems, web design principles, SEO, paid digital advertising, and social media.
Manage people and resources appropriately to deliver priorities.
