Business Presentation Design, Practice Leader

In this role, you will lead the establishment and growth of SALTI's Business Presentation Design practice, overseeing the development of a high-performing team responsible for creating impactful visual narratives that drive strategic decision-making for our pharmaceutical clients. You will set the vision for the practice, develop design standards, and foster a culture of innovation in business storytelling, while working closely with SALTI's leadership team to support key client and internal initiatives.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, consultants, and subject matter experts across SALTI to develop the Business Presentation Design practice. You'll partner with executives at top pharmaceutical companies to ensure that our strategic solutions are communicated in a compelling and actionable manner. You will also manage and mentor a team of designers, establishing processes, frameworks, and design standards that align with SALTI's overall business strategy and goals.

Your Role at SALTI

As the Practice Leader for Business Presentation Design, you will be responsible for establishing and growing the practice, developing a cohesive strategy that aligns with SALTI's objectives, and building a team capable of delivering high-quality visual communications. You will work on both client-facing and internal projects, ensuring that SALTI's presentations support business development, strategic initiatives, and executive decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and Grow the Practice: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Business Presentation Design practice, defining its goals, structure, and key offerings to clients. Build the team from the ground up, recruiting and mentoring top presentation design talent.
• Strategic Leadership: Lead the practice in providing best-in-class visual communication solutions for SALTI's consulting engagements and internal business needs. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the practice supports the firm's growth, business development, and client engagement strategies.
• Develop Frameworks & Standards: Create design standards, guidelines, and processes that ensure consistency and quality across all presentations. Develop frameworks that make it easy for consultants and teams to produce high-quality presentations efficiently.
• Foster Innovation & Excellence: Champion innovative approaches to business storytelling, ensuring that SALTI stays at the forefront of presentation design trends. Lead the team in developing creative, data-driven narratives that enhance client decision-making and elevate SALTI's brand in the marketplace.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of presentation designers. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages creative thinking, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
• Collaboration with Consultants & Clients: Work closely with consulting teams to understand project objectives and client needs, ensuring the presentation design practice aligns with broader consulting goals. Build relationships with clients to tailor visual storytelling approaches to their unique challenges and strategies.
• Support Business Development: Partner with the business development team to craft compelling presentations that support SALTI's growth initiatives. Ensure that presentations for prospective clients clearly communicate SALTI's value proposition and thought leadership in the pharmaceutical industry.

What We Look For

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in business presentation design, visual communication, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in consulting, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors is highly valued.
• Strategic Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and grow a design team while setting a strategic vision for a practice area. Experience in building design standards and frameworks for large-scale, complex projects.
• Design & Communication Expertise: Expertise in presentation software (PowerPoint, Keynote) and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma). Strong understanding of data visualization and storytelling principles.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior executives to deliver strategic presentations. Ability to mentor and develop design talent.
• Innovation Mindset: A creative thinker with a passion for staying at the cutting edge of design and storytelling trends, bringing new ideas and approaches to the firm.
