The Advertising Sales team is responsible for driving ad revenue with Advertisers and ultimately enabling our clients to reach their business objectivesAbout the Role This position is on the front lines of generating media ad sales through video, home screen innovation, and custom sponsorship on the Roku platform.  The ideal candidate will be evangelizing our advertising offering to agencies and direct brands as well as managing a national sales team. A background in digital video advertising, premium publisher cross-platform media sales, and sponsorship sales is required.  Must be driven to work independently, and resourceful to manage many duties, including cold calling, account management, media planning, campaign reporting & optimization, develop sales proposals, presentations, marketing materials, and ideate custom solutions. The ideal candidate has worked in a digital start-up environment and is familiar with the required dedication for long hours, fast paced/multi-tasking duties, and embraces and thrives on uncertainty.  This is a key Eastern market hire for Roku and an incredible opportunity for the right candidate looking to advance their career with a market leader in an exploding category. For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $156,000 - $234,000 annually.  Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.This role is eligible for incentive compensation/commissions, health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.What you’ll be doing  Key contributor to revenue, work against aggressive advertising revenue goals - need to hit the ground running and be a fast learnerManage a team of Account ExecutivesResearch, develop, and pitch media plans and promotions featured on RokuProactively build and maintain a pipeline of sales targets, contacts, and sales opportunities via cold calling and leveraging your brand connections and their AORsBuild and cultivate high level agency/client relationships.Collaborate with internal stakeholders on sales strategy for key agency and client partners.Report on revenue projections/forecasts We’re excited if you have 5-7+ years' experience in advertising sales, preferably in the video, streaming, TV, display, social, mobile, and/or custom content space1-2+ years managing Account ExecutivesA successful track record in closing large, complex, and custom advertising sales with enterprise advertisers and key stakeholders at their agenciesLocated in New York, NY#LI-SR3BenefitsRoku is committed to offering a diverse range of benefits as part of our compensation package to support our employees and their families.
