EA SPORTS College Football is looking for an Experience Designer who is passionate about solving complex design problems, creating compelling program visuals and building experiences that surprise and delight our players. You are immersed in the world of graphic/visual design.
Responsibilities:
- Design industry-leading visuals, graphic design elements and systems for College Football Ultimate Team.
- Create emotive art within strict technical limitations.
- Collaborate within a diverse team to create a variety of visual themes for programs that reflect our game.
- Prioritize task and manage time to meet our demanding content scheduling requirements.
- Work with a team to set priorities and developing design solutions to meet our goals.
- Lead other Experience Designers within the team to help improve overall visual craft.
- Help solidify the College Football Ultimate team and it's systems.
- Monitor team health, improving team culture and supporting career development opportunities.
- Scout talent and recruiting including external vendors and contractors.
- Provide guidance on HLEs for features and program scoping decisions and task assignments.
- Advocate for Experience Design and Live Content both within the team and across the studio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in design, marketing, or related studies.
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design or visual design.
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design software.
- Experience with Figma, Miro and other collaborative tools.
- Understand composition, grid, color theory, typography, iconography, logo and layout design.
- Comfortable presenting cohesive design approaches and iterating based on feedback.
- An Interest in 3d & motion graphics is ideal.
- Knowledge of American Football & sports games is beneficial.
- Experience designing for video games and live services with microtransactions is a bonus, not a requirement.
