Summary:
Receive incoming project requests and evaluate AV solution requirements. Design audio, video, and control systems for projects. Evaluate products, solutions, brands, and trends in the industry. Specify products, solutions, and services. Understand AV integration on a component level and from an overall system architecture perspective. Present recommended solutions to organizational leaders. Effectively communicate project expectations, deadlines, specs, and budgets. Consult with installation technicians, other trades, client project managers, and general contractors. Stay in frequent communication with project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborates with construction teams, IS, and clinical personnel to design and deliver AV systems that meet the needs of the organization
* Leads projects requiring technical expertise and creativity in the analysis and deployment of technology.
* Maintains knowledge of current trends in the AV industry and applies this to new system designs for our customers
* Monitors and reports on all phases of AV Projects, ensuring they are coordinated, logged, and tracked appropriately.
* Provides input on process improvements and contributes to the technology roadmap for the strategic plan.
* Provides technical guidance and training; may guide other staff.
* May report to the executive and senior management on the status of projects and system support activities.
* Ensures adherence to company standards and policies.
WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 5 years Working for an AV Systems Integration Firm in a Design/Engineering role (Required)
* At least 5 years Working for an AV Systems Integration Firm in a Project Management role (Preferred)
EDUCATION
* Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Required)
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
* Avixa CTS-I or CTS-D (Preferred)
