Position Summary

EBI Consulting is looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Marketing Manager. The selected candidate will have extensive marketing and communications experience as well as a comprehensive knowledge of branding and strategic planning. This person will lead a team of marketers and communications professionals to help EBI plan strategically, implement effectively, and continue its growth trajectory.

This position reports directly to the Vice President of FP&A and Marketing, and will be a hybrid position with a few days per week requirement in our Burlington, MA corporate headquarters. As such, candidates must already be established near Burlington, MA and comfortable with a hybrid work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish consistent, effective, and desired brand positioning and a supporting messaging platform for our target markets, utilizing all platforms and communications points
  • Lead, mentor, and grow marketing team expertise and support career development
  • Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing services, internally and externally
  • Work with the business teams to identify greater cross-practice revenue opportunities within our established client base and supporting growth with new accounts
  • Work with the team to build and deploy an internal and external integrated communication strategy and tactical plan
  • Co-lead the strategic planning process with Business Development and functional teams
  • Develop a comprehensive roadmap for marketing assets such as web copy, SEO, blogs, awards, thought leadership, news releases and articles, interviews, videos, case studies, infographics, emails, webcasts, podcasts, events, advertising, and more
  • Lead and manage our market research capability to include market segmentation, buyer personas, and competitive positioning as well as establishing a robust client research and satisfaction program.
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and industry trends.
  • Translate these results into actionable insights for business and marketing team


Qualifications and Capabilities

  • 10+ years of professional experience in marketing, many of which were leading teams
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, or communications (MBA/Masters preferred)
  • Successful track record in senior marketing roles
  • Experience working with sales, account management, and/or ABM
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Strong project management skills and execution orientation
  • A collaborative mindset, positive attitude and passion for the marketing and communications profession
  • Experience with managing marketing automation tools
  • Established portfolio of media and PR contacts
  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
