Title: Performance Marketing Video Editor Compensation: $75,000-$96,0000 Annually Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-hire, Contract Industry: Media & Entertainment Key Responsibilities: Edit both short and long videos for various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) and marketing campaigns. Utilize storytelling techniques, transitions, and motion graphics to enhance video quality and viewer engagement. Adapt existing content to create videos tailored for specific platforms, optimizing for performance and audience preferences. Work with the marketing team to understand key performance metrics like CTR, CPI, engagement rates, and retention rates. Experiment with different video variations (e.g., hooks, CTAs, formats) to improve campaign performance. Use data from A/B testing and audience feedback to refine editing strategies and enhance results. Collaborate with the creative team to generate new ideas for ad creatives and organic social content. Keep up with trends in social media and digital marketing to guide creative direction. Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain high quality. Modify edits based on feedback and quickly iterate on concepts to meet deadlines. Required Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in video editing for social media and/or performance marketing. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video specifications. Knowledge of performance marketing principles and the ability to interpret campaign data to inform creative decisions. Creativity and storytelling skills, with a focus on engaging audiences within the first few seconds of a video. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Preferred Qualifications: Experience with basic animation or motion graphics. Familiarity with data analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, or similar platforms. Knowledge of audience segmentation and targeting strategies in digital advertising.
