Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Database Marketing Manager to lead our database marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies including PPC campaigns, targeted email marketing, and social media campaigns to enhance member engagement, retention, and acquisition. This will be achieved through effective database management and targeted marketing efforts. This person will collaborate closely with the Go-To-Market Manager to ensure alignment and effectiveness in our marketing strategies. The candidate will also leverage data analytics to inform decisions and optimize initiatives, driving growth for The IIA's global community.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive database marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention while driving acquisition efforts, including the creation of next action purchases, mapping the buyer's journey, and triggering communication based on behavior data
• Data Management: Oversee the maintenance, segmentation, and optimization of our marketing database, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Campaign Execution: Plan, execute, and analyze targeted marketing campaigns based on database insights, focusing on lead generation and nurturing strategies.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of database marketing initiatives, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess impact and inform future strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing communications, product marketing, sales) to align objectives and ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
• Technical Management: Manage the technical aspects of database marketing tools and CRM systems, ensuring seamless integration and effective usage to support marketing goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database marketing, recommending and implementing new techniques to enhance campaign effectiveness.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on database marketing, CRM management, and data analytics.
• Tools Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics, HubSpot), marketing automation platforms, and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel).
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of database management principles, data segmentation strategies, and analytics best practices.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights for marketing strategies.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and work under tight deadlines.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage various stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities

Other Duties:
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall goals of the marketing department.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

Intermediate or higher ability to work in a computerized environment with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Web-related computer skills listed above.
