Senior Accountant for Prominent NYC Nonprofit

Full time, Hybrid position located in Downton Manhattan

Responsibilities:
Prepare general ledger account reconciliations & analyze data for accuracy
Assist with day-to-day reconciliations, transactions, & accounts payable responsibilities
Prep financial statements, budgets, & forecasts
Assist with posting journal entries, month end close, & cash flow analysis
Process vendor invoices & expense reimbursements
Assist in preparing budget-related materials & supporting documents required for submission to funders
Track revenue for each funding source via accrual adjustments, posting checks, & electronic transfers
Qualifications:
2+ years of non-profit accounting experience
Tech savvy - Strong excel & accounting software skills are a plus!
Knowledge of non-profit/government grants & contracts is also a plus
Eager to join & grow with a strong, mission-driven team
