Our client in the technology industry is seeking a User Experience Designer to join their team. As a User Experience Designer, you will be part of the design team supporting customer-facing design systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in solving problems for users on mobile and desktop applications, have a strong aptitude for determining which design asset will clarify expectations and uncover obstacles in the user's path, and have experience with front-end web application development.
Job Title: User Experience Designer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay Range: $45-$48/hour
What's the Job?
Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates
Develop reusable and responsive, interactive patterns and code libraries that meet the highest W3 standards for HTML and CSS
Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA Accessibility standards
Collaborate with analysts, developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements
Design and develop UI and UX interfaces
What's Needed?
Deep experience in front-end web application development with hands-on programming
Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end-user needs
Expertise of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
Skills, knowledge, and experience using end-to-end Human-centered design-HCD techniques including design, research, and usability
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and React
