This role is within the American Airlines Credit Union. It is an early- to mid-level career growth opportunity within the UX-service design operations team in the member experience vertical of the Marketing and Business Development department at American Airlnes Credit Union. The ideal candidate will be an empathetic, creative UI service design professional with a well-rounded background in digital marketing, visual, interaction, social media and mobile design to join and contribute to the evolution of the Credit Union's UX service design team. This role will primarily support the Marketing and Business Development department with the design, development and implementation of strategic growth solution improvements for the Credit Union's email marketing platforms and, occasionally, other integrated FinTech mobile and web services platform UIs.
What you'll do
Work in collaboration with the UX Design Strategy Manager and other Marketing campaign team to support email marketing operations, including, but not limited to, prototyping, design and build for email-marketing and member-servicing templates and campaigns, including supporting any growth expansion opportunities for A/B, and automated trigger campaigns
Help teams develop targeted segmentation and communication strategies to maximize conversion rate and engagement
Help implement test and control tactics for outbound emails that leverage analytics to improve funnel progression and engagement goals
Occasionally support and contribute to operational design, development projects for corporate websites and mobile app
Be provided the opportunity to contribute any related talents and experience to a social media committee
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree that includes Business Administration, Marketing and/or New Media Communications, or 1 to 3+ years of experience in Service Design, or Email and Marketing Operations
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Experience with projects involving progressive enhancement, (responsive/adaptive) design
Experience with prototyping, front-end UI debugging and cross-browser/device testing
Experience in digital cross-channel marketing: SEO, UTMs, customer journeys, segmentation and A/B strategies, subscriber management and deliverability
Understanding of email and service design best practices: ADA, GDPR and CAN-SPAM legislation
Experience working with version control, content management systems, or at the very least, a basic understanding of revision control processes and staging workflows
Well-rounded research and analysis skills, with the ability to work with a wide spectrum of diverse end-users, technical and non-technical
High degree of analytical and organizational skills with the ability to balance, prioritize and work with teammates covering a multitude of requests and initiatives in various stages of completion
Moderate understanding of the application of Generative AI for support and designing of digital experiences
Knowledge of the Credit Union's products, brand, and vision
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
Experience in service design methodologies, user centered design, agile methodologies
Experience with Adobe CC suite, Figma or other design prototyping tools (e.g., Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch)
Basic- to mid-level knowledge of SQL, email databases, data analytics
Basic to intermediate understanding of the entire design and development process: research, accessibility (ADA & WAI-ARIA), content strategy, SEO, information architecture, optimization, UX and how it affects UI design
Basic understanding of Mobile design, development for both iOS and Android devices is desired, but not required
Knowledge of Google Analytics, GTM, Site Catalyst or other web tracking and analytics tools and how UX research metrics complement
Ability to exercise excellent interpersonal and communication skills and work with a diverse set of people from various disciplines and levels of management
Ability to work as an independent contributor with minimal supervision and capable of self-direction, occasionally working with internal and external business teams or creative agencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
