Job Summary: 

Experienced Studio Manager trained in all facets of the studio services, marketing, operations, sales and performance. The Manager will be responsible for growing the business and providing clients with an exceptional customer experience through quality, professional, friendly, and informed hair removal and other services / treatments.  We are looking for a compassionate, adaptable, customer-oriented, and self-motivated individual who is willing to be hands on and has a genuine interest in growing our vibrant organization!

The Manager will establish and implement short and long-range objectives for the assigned location, oversee related functions and activities, and administer company policies and procedures.

The Manager's job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Directs, implements, and maintains guest experience and service standards; efficient and professional guest check-in, friendly and educated team members, comfort and cleanliness of procedure rooms and lobby and resolves guest problems and complaints as needed. 
  • Develops, implements, and maintains programs/processes to enhance sales, guest satisfaction and ensure front and back-office operations are efficient and profitable. 
  • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions 
  • Develops the team and holds accountable to the achievement of product and service sales and profitability goals. 
  • Efficient use of the POS.  Prepares accurate and timely reports and correspondence as needed; responds to corporate requests. 
  • Proper development and management of staff schedule for adequate coverage. Ensure staff hours are approved and submit. 
  • Establishes, modifies, implements, and monitors systems and procedures to enhance timely and efficient workflow. 
  • Ensures studio operations are maintained through appropriate planning and implementation of operations processes including; ordering supplies, inventory, security system, overall cleanliness, equipment maintenance and compliance with OSHA regulations. 
  • Schedule monthly education training and workshops to provide staff with continuing education to improve professional and technical knowledge, skills, and abilities. 
  • Utilize marketing tools to generate new business. 
  • Be aware of and comply with all federal, state, and local labor and employment laws applicable to employees at the Studio including licensure of Estheticians and Cosmetologists. 
  • Directly work with the Owner and other Studio Managers within the Organizations. 
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable requirements and federal, state, and local laws/regulations including but not limited to those pertaining to quality improvement, human resources, environmental protection, fire and life safety, occupational injuries and illnesses, security, and disaster preparedness.
  • Ensure that all Estheticians (Sugaristas) are maintaining company hygiene and cleaning policies - which includes end-of-shift room checks and intermittent room checks.
  • Support and supervise the estheticians & front desk receptionists in that location.
  • Conduct or assist with performance evaluations and assist with employee relations issues including disciplinary actions of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding and training programs
  • Optimize Appointment books, Handle coverage and more.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Shifts:

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week, on-call 

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Weekends

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at time

Education:

  • Associate (Required)
  • Cosmetology or Esthetician License preferred 

Experience:

  • Management: 4 years (Required)
  • Salon, Retail or Hospitality management: 4 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
