We are looking for a talented and passionatedesigner to help define and bring to life a range of solutions related to Verily's clinical trial management system (Site CTMS)
As our lead
UX Designer
in Raleigh and on the CTMS team, you will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to help to solve some of the biggest challenges in clinical research. You will drive the end-to-end design process for a mix of projects, from discovery through to detailed execution, with the opportunity to distill complex problems into simple, beautiful, and powerful interfaces.
This role is part of our
Platform UX
team, a highly-collaborative group of designers, researchers, and content strategists dedicated to building Verily's Precision Health Platform and tools for professionals in healthcare and life sciences.

Responsibilities Take ownership of user experience for Verily's Clinical Trials Management System, including designing interactions and interfaces for new and existing product areas. Collaborate with user researchers, product managers, content strategists, and other domain experts to understand needs, identify opportunities and constraints, rapidly iterate designs based on feedback, and plan design strategy. Work with our engineering team to ensure designs are implemented as envisioned, and collaborate with them to come up with creative solutions when technical challenges arise. Help elevate our UX practice by contributing to our Verily Design System, participating in design critiques, and supporting company-wide design initiatives, interest groups, and other activities. Evangelize UX through your quality of work, communication, and user advocacy. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
An outstanding portfolio of thoughtfully designed products, demonstrating work across the end-to-end design process, from developing strong conceptual foundations to refining the smallest details with clear rationale. Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field with 4+ years of professional UX Design experience in enterprise software, consumer products, medical devices or other relevant areas. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with proven success working and aligning with cross-functional stakeholders such as product managers, researchers, and software engineers. Familiarity with Figma as well as the technical intricacies of designing accessible, responsive web applications. Preferred Qualifications
(Having many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable)
Past work that focuses on Enterprise products, Healthcare, Clinical Research, or other relevant areas. Experience designing rich data visualizations, complex professional tools, flexible enterprise platforms, AI utilities, or related design solutions. Proven track record in bringing projects to launch into a commercial market.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000 - $162,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
