The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with expertise in driving Profit and Loss (P&L) performance, project forecasting, and providing strategic financial insights to support company growth. Stable, growing company with a strong market presence. OVERVIEW OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER ROLE: Manage and analyze financial statements and reports, with a focus on P&L performance. Drive financial forecasting for ongoing and future projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals. The Assistant Controller will oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control processes, including performance monitoring. Conduct detailed financial performance analysis, identifying trends and recommending improvements. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are achieved. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. The Assistant Controller will assist in preparing financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ASSISTANT CONTROLLER ROLE: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Senior Accountant, or Assistant Controller in manufacturing or construction. Strong expertise in financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and project financials.
