"Welcoming atmosphere from all in leadership positions" RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the company and related entities. • Review financial and job costs data to identify trends and discrepancies, resolving irregularities. • Work with management to develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience. • Proven ability to supervise and develop staff effectively. • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office. • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting. • Familiarity with business taxes (federal and state income, sales/use, payroll). • Experience with auditing processes and procedures
