Full-Time, Onsite Company Overview: Our client, a growing organization based in Tukwila, WA, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized professional with a strong foundation in accounting. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure all accounts are accurate and up to date. Record journal entries and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger. Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and timely. Assist with maintaining fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries. Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Help ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and regulations. Provide support for audits as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations , journal entries, and month-end closing processes. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
