ESOP Controller fully remote
Salary: $130k base with 15% - 20% bonus

Responsibilities of the ESOP Controller:

• The ESOP Controller will manage the accounting department and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in payroll reconciliations
• Manage and supervise the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• The Controller will coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring cash balances and forecasting cash needs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Provide expertise on ESOP-related accounting matters, ensuring adherence to compliance and reporting requirements.

What the company needs in a ESOP Controller:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar
• Recent ESOP experience is a MUST - min 5+ years

• Must live in AZ, FL, GA, ID, MI, NC, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA
