Overview of the Procurement Specialist role: Source goods, services, and equipment required by the agency through informal (RFQ) and formal (RFP) processes. Follow State of Texas and Federal Procurement policies and procedures Apply strategic cost savings, negotiations, and market research on all procurements Manage internal and external relationships by assisting stakeholder and keeping open communication with vendors and potential vendors.
