Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer/Chief Credit Officer (CFO/CCO) to join their growing team. CCO/CFO Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting/Finance/Business/related.
- 10+ years of direct residential real estate investment experience.
- Strong familiarity with the business-purpose lending industry.
- Expertise in construction management and real estate valuation.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams for over 10 years.
- At least 5 years of legal experience within institutional capital markets.
- Experience in 1-4 unit residential development = a plus.
- Salesforce or Sage Inaact = a plus.
CCO/CFO Responsibilities:
As CFO/CCO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial and credit functions of the organization while ensuring compliance and fostering growth.
Credit Oversight:
- Lead the loan committee to approve or modify loan originations, extensions, and workouts.
- Spearhead business development for lender finance initiatives.
- Develop and maintain robust risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Oversee loss mitigation efforts for classified assets.
- Ensure compliance with covenants in capital market loan agreements.
Financial Leadership:
- Oversee all aspects of financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital management.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure regulatory and legal compliance across financial operations.
- Optimize capital structure to drive profitability and growth.
