Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a Seattle-based institutional investment company to identify their new staff accountant. The Staff Accountant will have responsibilities for the daily operations of the real estate account group and be willing to take on additional projects and grow with the company! In this role you will have the opportunity to learn the industry and position and continue to grow with the company. Opportunity: This person will have the opportunity to learn the business being part of a team of 5 reporting to an awesome manager who is willing to train and mentor The Exposure: You will work closely with a team and different teams throughout the company. Compensation/Benefits : Base+ 20%-30% bonus+20% 401K match+ equity. Hybrid Schedule- 2 days WFH and 3 days in office. The Staff Accountant responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare and post daily journal entries to reflect cash activity Maintain leasing activity Import the annual real estate properties budgeting process Compile audit and tax materials Help prepare tax documents and payments for certain tax filings Process payments for ownership-level equity and debt funds Coordination of invoice payments Process certain construction draws, capital calls, and funding requests Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is desired 1+ years of experience in GL Accounting Real Estate, Property Management or Public Accounting experience is a plus Eager to learn and grow Great communication skills #LI-JM1 #INNOV2024
