JOB SUMMARY

The Multimedia Designer is an essential member of our in-house marketing team, responsible for crafting compelling visual narratives that reinforce our brand identity and messaging across various platforms. This dynamic role merges creative, technical, and strategic communication skills to transform complex ideas into engaging multimedia content. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, the ideal candidate will possess keen attention to detail and a fervent passion for storytelling through both design and videography.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Development

  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and photography direction for a range of print and digital communications, managing projects from inception to final delivery
  • Develop innovative and visually organized collateral that aligns with strategic marketing objectives and resonates emotionally with target audiences

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels
  • Present design concepts and video proposals to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance creative outputs

Graphic Design

  • Oversee the printing and production processes for all marketing materials, coordinating vendor relationships, preparing files, and ensuring timely delivery
  • Create eye-catching graphics for various digital and print media, including social media, websites, newsletters, and brochures while adhering to brand guidelines
  • Stay abreast of design industry trends and tools, making recommendations on innovative techniques that enhance project effectiveness

Videography and Production

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for promotional purposes, internal communications, and social media, including both studio and on-location projects
  • Conceptualize and execute video shoots, which may include interviews, b-roll, events, and testimonials, ensuring high standards of lighting, sound, and composition
  • Manage video projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met and the content effectively conveys the intended message

General Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the marketing team and the organization

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • College degree in Digital Communications, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design or related disciplines
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • 3 – 5 years of professional experience in graphic development and digital content creation, including video editing
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • Experience with video hosting platforms (Wistia, Vimeo, etc)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with HubSpot

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse internal teams
  • A strong understanding of current marketing tools and strategies to enhace brand and customer engagement
  • Excellent writing, editorial and communication skills
  • Creative in nature, excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and see projects and issues to timely resolution
  • Comprehensive understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives, with a focus on supporting them through design and content
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp and retain new information
  • Ability to present complex ideas in accessible and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires driving/travel occasionally
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Maintains a good driving record
