Through experiencedleadership, the ideal candidate will take on many of the more complex taskscurrently completed by the CAD Design Manager, to better enable theirincreased focus on training for a passionate and skilled group of youngdesigne This position will require completing higher level tasks with an emphasis ondesign for residential, multi-family, commercial, and mixed-useprojects. Both vary based on level within the program and bonuses aredependent upon company performance.In addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to allemployees.Responsibilities Prepare base files, plan exhibits, construction documentation and detaileddesign drawings for an array of land development and civil engineeringprojectsProvide drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining AutoCAD 3Ddrawings that compile to create aset of construction drawings ready for agencyapproval.Coordinate with internal team members and applicable members of the greaterProject Delivery Team (architects, landscape architects, trafficconsultants, etc) to deliver successful projects.Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to variousmunicipalities specifications and standards.Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of CADstandards across the Civil/Land Development Group.Perform other duties as necessary. Required Skills & Required Experience Associate degree in drafting or engineering technology.A minimum of five (15) years of experience as a CADD designer (AutoCADCivil3D) with civil design, and specifically, land development experience.Strong working experienc with current versions of AutoCAD and using the Civil3D package to create surfaces, alignments and profiles.High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills.Demonstrate a keen eye for quality and problem-solving capabilities.Have the ability and the vision to take a project from early stages planningto final approved plans.Understanding a variety of land development design concepts, practices andprocedures including drainage, earthwork, streets and utilities and havethe knowledge to correctly implement these features of the project.Must have excellent communication skills and desire to work in a teamenvironment.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, fluid working environment.The projected range for this position is $95,000-$128,000 annually.Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, #J-18808-Ljbffr
