About this internship: We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team and gain practical experience in the dynamic world of marketing. As a Marketing Intern, you will work closely with our marketing and communications professionals to support various tasks and projects that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. You will have the opportunity to learn about key aspects of marketing, including content creation, social media management, campaign development, event planning, and digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and scheduling engaging social media content across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.)
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages to maintain active engagement
- Analyze social media metrics and performance to track the success of campaigns and suggest improvements
- Support the development and execution of social media campaigns aligned with marketing objectives
- Collaborate with the design team to create visuals, infographics, and multimedia content for social media posts
- Research current social media trends and stay updated on platform updates to ensure the company is at the forefront of digital trends
- Help grow social media followers and engagement rates through innovative strategies and community management
- Assist in running social media ads and promotions, tracking their performance, and adjusting for optimal results
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and industry best practices in social media marketing
Experience and Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.) and content management tools
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, email marketing, and analytics
- Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) is preferred
- Proactive, innovative, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or currently pursuing one)
- Knowledge of industry trends, including emerging digital marketing strategies and social media trends
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with event planning and execution is a plus
- Strong research and analytical skills to assist with market analysis and campaign performance tracking
