JOB DESCRIPTION: We are currently looking for a creative and driven Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a key role in amplifying the Foundation's mission, engaging with diverse audiences, executing, and managing our social media strategy across various platforms. You will work alongside the Marketing and Communications Coordinator to create engaging content, grow our online presence, and track the effectiveness of our campaigns. This role calls for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, social media trends, and content creation. The Social Media Coordinator will be expected to attend events and work remotely up to 50% of the time, and perhaps more. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Social Media Management: Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and engagement opportunities. Generate visually appealing and compelling multimedia content, including graphics, images, reels, videos, and other creative assets tailored for all relevant channels. Content Creation: Curate and schedule engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms. Community Engagement: Interact with the foundation's online community on all social platforms: responding to comments, messages, and facilitating conversations. Increase followership and brand awareness. Data Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics specific to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, NFG, Later, and other platforms, providing regular reports and insights for continuous improvement. Campaign Management: Manage and optimize the foundation's presence on fundraising and donation platforms. Develop and implement social media campaigns to promote foundation initiatives and drive engagement across different platforms. Event Coverage: Provide live coverage and engaging reels of foundation events on all platforms. Capture behind-the-scenes content and conduct interviews tailored for each platform to enhance online engagement. Creative Projects: Contribute creative ideas and assist in the development of digital campaigns and projects specifically tailored for each platform. Collaborate on video production, photography, and other creative initiatives with a platform-specific approach. Other Duties as Assigned: The Foundation maintains the right to establish timelines and set deliverables for the Social Media Coordinator. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree, marketing or communications related field not required but is a plus. 1-2 years experience in content creation, managing social media platforms, and running digital campaigns. Familiarity with social media scheduling, design, and campaign programs. Strong organizational and planning skills. Proficient with filming and editing social reels and posts. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Ability to work in a changing environment with time-sensitive content. A strong data-driven mindset, with the ability to write reports and trend recommendations with facts and analytical insights. Prefer with experience using tools comparable to Canva, Later, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Dropbox.
