Job Summary

Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our organization’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive conversion efforts, and engage our target audience. Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling content, monitor social media channels, and analyze performance metrics to optimize our social media presence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and target audience.

Identify key social media platforms for our brand and create tailored strategies for each platform.

Create engaging, high-quality content for social media platforms, including written posts, images, videos, and infographics.

Curate relevant content from industry sources and user-generated content to share with our audience.

Build and nurture a strong online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Foster meaningful interactions with followers to increase brand loyalty and advocacy.

Plan and execute social media campaigns, including contests, giveaways, and promotions, to drive engagement and achieve campaign objectives.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaign alignment with overall marketing initiatives.

Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement.

Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts.

Prepare regular reports detailing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in social media marketing.

Proactively identify emerging platforms and opportunities to enhance our social media strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of proven experience as a social media manager in a similar role or eight (8) years of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience in Higher Education Enrollment Management and Recruitment Marketing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.

Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.

Expert written and verbal communication skills.

Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
