We are looking for a Global Marketing Lead, TK2D, who is a strong cross-functional leader and insight integrator, acting across the value chain for the indication, to join us in our TK2D Rare Disease Team. This position can be based at any one of our three UCB locations: Atlanta, GA; Raleigh, NC; or Boston, MA
About the role
The Global Marketing Lead, TK2D will work with a cross-functional and regional partnership that delivers final preparation for a world-class launch (EU, US, Intercontinental) of an ultra-rare TK2D disease including the readiness of a ultra model Global to Local
Seeking a cross-functional leader and insight integrator acting across the value chain for the indication. They will strengthen the overall asset to respond to the company goals to foster growth, and innovation, and deliver market leadership to enhance the company's reputation.
Who you'll work with
- Ensure alignment and collaboration with countries, cross-regional teams, medical affairs, Patient engagement, access, regulatory, and commercial teams among others
- Provide insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership based on market data
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align Asset indication strategies with business goals and regulatory/healthcare systems requirements
- Engage with key stakeholders, internally and externally to ensure the orchestration of asset strategy meets the needs of all stakeholders to deliver the best patient and caregivers' outcomes, elevating their lives
- Experienced manager and leader of professionals and cross-functional teams in an international and complex matrix environment
What you'll do
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Realize PSLT (Patient Strategy Leadership Team) deliverables
- Able to differentiate strategic imperatives and develop global strategy and associated tactics that align with corporate goals and business needs. The ability to think outside of the box is a must
- Lead the patient population- indication vision, strategy, and positioning short/long term, bringing all disciplines together for common outcomes
- Recommend and drive Indication data and evidence differentiation. Guarantee Integrated and Strategic Evidence Generation (ISEG) strategy data is in place meeting expected outcomes
- Lead the Integrated Strategic Plan (ISP) across different stakeholders and geographies focusing on maximizing outcomes/investment ratio, with the full Asset Leadership team
- Act as a strong team builder to orchestrate the asset "indication "strategy across various stakeholders
- Oversee the development and implementation of global brand strategies for the assigned indication(s)
- Responsible for Visual/ Branding and Asset Core claims/ Message development G2L and long-term narrative across stakeholders
- Guide market analysis and research to identify opportunities, trends, and threats specific to the assigned indication
- Ensure consistent positioning and brand messaging across all markets/regions
- Master data analytics, market research, and competitive intelligence to drive informed decision-making
- Monitor regulatory changes, competitive landscape, and market trends specific to the indication and rare disease field
- Lead Indication forecast, market sizing, and growth potential. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies
- Good understanding of healthcare ecosystems, particularly how payers and regulatory bodies recognize and value innovation. Ability to navigate access challenges to ensure market success, especially in Key markets in the US and EU and IM
- Experience in working with payers and understanding their criteria for recognizing and reimbursing innovative treatments in a rare/ultra-rare environment.
- Demonstrated success in securing market access by effectively communicating the value proposition of innovations to payers and healthcare decision-makers
Interested? For this role, we're looking for the following education, experience, and skills
- Education: BA/BS degree, scientific and alternative business models background preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years in progressively strategic leadership roles accountable for influencing business strategy with measurable results, preferably in both global and local roles.
- Track record Neurology and Ultra & Rare Disease area knowledge and experience: Prior knowledge and experience in the Ultra rare diseases area is a priority
- Global leadership and in-country operational launch execution and P/L experience: Demonstrable ability to work at and with Global and Regions/Countries inc. US/EU/RoW
This position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $177,200 - $232,600 annually. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
