Job Summary:
The Senior Field Marketing Coordinator (FMC) is responsible for building and strengthening DreamFields' relationships with dispensary accounts, supporting the local sales team in meeting or exceeding sales goals, and collaborating with the marketing and promotions teams to facilitate events. This position requires someone with a strong passion for cannabis, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to lead and manage a regional team of Brand Ambassadors (BAs) and Field Marketing Coordinators (FMCs). The Senior FMC will also play a key role in managing external vendors, tracking marketing materials, and providing event support.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Act as the supervisor to the Field Marketing Coordinator and Brand Ambassador teams within the assigned region.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and provide in-field training to new team members.
- Communicate campaign initiatives and directives from the executive team to the regional Brand Ambassador team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain positive relationships with dispensary accounts in the region to schedule events, including Patient Appreciation Days (PADs), Jeeter University (Jeeter U), and special promotional events.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and special events departments to coordinate event details, including staffing and scheduling.
- Create and update data tracking spreadsheets based on changing variables to support reporting and decision-making.
- Manage and track marketing materials, ensuring timely reorder requests for the region's storage unit.
- Transition from in-store PADs to store visits, continuing to foster strong relationships with clients.
- Provide coverage for FMCs/BAs at PAD events if necessary.
- Execute all marketing requests from management and provide timely updates.
- Manage external vendors for coordination, document creation, and deliveries of marketing collateral.
- Support the marketing department with budget management by processing and tracking invoices, reconciling costs, and providing monthly accrual reports.
- Gauge store traffic and collect market feedback to inform strategy and initiatives.
- Audit brand materials regularly, ensuring all collateral is current, on-brand, and updated as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Driver's License.
- Exceptional Organizational Skills: Able to prioritize, manage, and track multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Outstanding Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external vendors.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite for tracking, reporting, and project management.
- Team Player and Independent Contributor: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as required by the role.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or related fields preferred, with proven success in planning and executing promotional events.
- 1+ years of experience in the cannabis industry or having a strong knowledge of cannabis brands and products is highly preferred.
- 1+ years of customer service or other people-oriented fields experience is strongly desired.
- Experience managing or working at cannabis events is preferred.
- A cannabis network or social media following in the industry is considered a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to travel regularly to different locations within the region to support field marketing activities and events.
