Senior Finance Analyst sought for Prime Video across a diverse set of countries including Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Australia, and others within Latin America and Oceania. This role blends direct management of pan-regional slate planning and fixed marketing budgets with country teams, alongside reporting and management of centralized functions.
You will be a collaborative forward-thinker, and will join our International Video finance team. In this key role, you will act as the primary finance partner and trusted advisor to the marketing heads (Canada, Australia, and New Zealand), ensuring budget management and spend drivers are well understood, providing your business partners with actionable insights, and calibrating marketing spend. You will also own centralized finance function across all regions, which include metrics calibration and updates, automation of reporting structures and planning cycles, and management of headcount. You will act as a go to person for all finance related questions for your business areas. This role will be at the intersection of Marketing, Business and Finance teams, relied on to drive actionable insights and create efficiencies, and make Prime Video customers first choice for streaming.

Key job responsibilities
• Finance partner to your designated marketing area, by collaborating with the business on analysis and insight generation to support decision making
• Audit fixed marketing spend, performing deep dive analysis on problems to understand root causes, and make decisions based on data
• Formalize, streamline and drive improvements to workstreams across marketing and centralized finance
• Lead planning, forecasting and budgeting for fixed marketing
• Lead ad hoc financial analyses and business development initiatives. Lead and participate as the key finance stakeholder in cross functional teams
• Scale automation for existing reporting partnering with BIE, as well as build new mechanisms
• Own headcount reporting to business leader, and act as owner of liaising with central teams to maintain and track accurate headcount
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA, or CPA
4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
