Make The Turn is seeking a dedicated and proactive Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind our client relationships, ensuring their needs are met with precision and enthusiasm. You will be front-facing with our clients, communicating with them directly on a daily basis through email and conducting weekly or biweekly meetings to keep them informed and engaged.


Your role will involve translating client goals into actionable digital marketing strategies, focusing on our core services of website design, monthly management, SEO, content creation, and digital advertising campaigns that drive lead generation.


We offer a flexible hybrid remote work model, providing the opportunity to work remotely while also engaging in-person with our team and clients. This role offers a perfect blend of remote work flexibility and direct collaboration, allowing you to experience the best of both worlds. You will have opportunities to visit clients at their place of business and actively participate in on-site meetings, which help to build stronger relationships and ensure client satisfaction. Additionally, occasional travel out of state is expected a few times per year to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, developing deep relationships and understanding their business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor who anticipates client needs and delivers tailored solutions to meet their marketing goals. Communicate directly with clients through daily emails and schedule weekly or biweekly meetings to discuss project updates and strategies.


  • Project Coordination: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of client projects. Coordinate with our internal teams to ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and are completed on schedule. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.


  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to create and execute digital marketing strategies that focus on our core services: website design, SEO, content creation, and digital advertising. Tailor these strategies to align with the specific goals and challenges of each client.


  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and measure the success of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators. Provide clients with detailed reports and insights, recommending optimizations to enhance performance and achieve better results.


  • Networking and Client Entertainment: Actively network with industry professionals and attend relevant events to expand our reach and influence. Utilize the provided expense account to entertain clients, building and maintaining strong business relationships.


  • Content Creation Support: Assist with basic graphic design or editing as needed. Capture content on-site and on the fly using simple photo and video capabilities with an iPhone to enhance client campaigns and marketing efforts.

Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in account management, client relations, or a similar role, preferably within the digital marketing industry. Experience with website design, SEO, and digital advertising is a plus.


  • Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising. Proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple client projects and deliver outstanding results.


  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive client relationships. Comfortable with daily client interactions and conducting regular meetings.


  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with website design platforms (e.g., Wix, WordPress), SEO tools, and digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads). Basic skills in graphic design or editing and the ability to capture high-quality content using an iPhone.


  • Personal Attributes: A proactive, self-starting attitude with a keen eye for detail and a passion for digital marketing. The ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player. Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.


  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel out of state a few times per year to meet with clients and attend industry events. Ability to work both remotely and in-person as needed.
