As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of marketing communications for Verizon's Fios pricing programs. This involves the development of targeted marketing communications aimed at growing and retaining the Fios customer base. The position is responsible for spearheading robust marketing communications that generate plan adoption and revenue, and will be responsible for developing creative briefs that guide the agencies in creating award-winning and effective creative. This includes the development of messaging strategies, targeting opportunities, and creative execution, as well as the development of marketing test plans to determine the effectiveness of marketing, targeting, and creative strategies. Requires the ability to package strategies and results into professional presentations for communication to peers, superiors, and executive levels of the organization. You will engage and influence stakeholders across the organization for the strategic development of tactical marketing plans, providing direction internally and externally on planned initiatives on an ongoing basis. You will maintain our leadership position by anticipating consumer needs and shaping our future offerings to meet them. Your vision and leadership will help us realize what’s next for Verizon. Responsibilities include: Developing end-to-end promotional campaigns including but not limited to ideation, communications strategies, execution strategy, customer journey mapping, and campaign analysis. Demonstrating ability to develop strategic creative briefs and evaluate creative ideas and concepts. Managing critical advertising agency partners, including briefing, budget, timelines, and execution. Implementation/execution of complete digital and traditional marketing plans providing ownership of CRM multi-channel communications to existing Verizon customers including email, push notifications, text messages, digital assets (home page tiles, feed cards, etc.) and other online and offline tactics. Developing test strategies, measuring and monitoring performance, and making strategic recommendations in order to improve creative and program performance. Completing administration of workflow (JIRA) tickets to begin the data strategy brief process and to support the development of creative with internal development teams for multi-vehicle customer communications programs. Presenting recommendations for strategy and creative improvements and provide strong justifying evidence to defend these recommendations to senior leadership and peer groups. Gain alignment across work groups and implement these changes. What we’re looking for... You'll need to have: Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training. Bachelor's degree or four or more years of experience. Agency and/or client side marketing and/or CRM - Customer Lifecycle experience. Experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization. Experience balancing multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint applications) and Google Suite. Even better if you have one or more of the following: A degree in Marketing, Market Research, Master’s degree – better if you have an MBA. Experience working with internal or external marketing or advertising agencies. Confident verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Experience with campaign automation tools such as JIRA, Adobe Campaign, HTML. Digital experience of trends and key business drivers. Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level). Analyzed what’s important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities. Balanced multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Designed custom research approaches to gain broader or deeper consumer and market insights. Translated market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the sales team. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $114,000.00 and $212,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
