Job Summary:
The Affiliate Marketing Manager is a pivotal role tasked with overseeing L’AGENCE’s growth strategy for the affiliate channel. In this role, you will be responsible for driving rapid expansion spanning content publishers, traditional affiliate publishers, card linked and shopping rewards offers, and support on performance influencer/paid media partnerships. You will have the opportunity to fully own and manage our affiliate program, building a project roadmap addressing network/management technology evaluation, campaign planning, and publisher recruitment, while infusing a data driven mindset into our measurement and our understanding of the affiliate program’s incremental impact on our enterprise growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Own the execution of annual affiliate marketing strategy and long-term planning roadmap for sustained year-over-year growth with focus on the primary L’AGENCE brand, as well as future brand channels or outlets. In doing so, ensure the affiliate program aligns with key brand, product launch and promotional time periods.
- Identify, onboard, and strengthen relationships with affiliate partners, networks, and publishers, ensuring they align with key business goals and brand strategies.
- Manage affiliate marketing budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and scalability.
- Implement optimization strategies to boost conversion rates and ensure that our message reaches the right affiliate partners with the right audience
- Obsessively monitor and analyze performance metrics, KPIs, and optimize campaigns to maximize ROAs; in tandem proactively provide regular channel updates, opportunity briefs and performance insights.
- Stay on top of emerging affiliate marketing industry trends to evaluate new network opportunities, management approaches, publisher models, or technologies that can deliver incremental growth and keep us a step ahead of competitors.
- Plan and troubleshoot technology/analytics integrations with internal and external partners and support on experimentation and incrementality testing, data integrations, analytics processes, and reporting.
- Support our internal partners to create efficiency for paid influencer, media partnership, and other key brand relationships as needed.
- Collaborate closely with our creative team to provide affiliates with engaging marketing materials.
- Act as the point of contact for agency, network and publisher relationships, including facilitation of invoicing and payment inquiries.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant digital media experience, including a demonstrated focus on growing large affiliate and performance influencer marketing programs
- Extensive knowledge of analytics/reporting tools and methodologies (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and the ability to analyze large complex dataset
- Ability to effectively work together with a diverse team across functions including vendors, marketers, product managers, analytics and tech
- Demonstrable organizational and automation skills needed to manage hundreds of affiliates, drive for constant improvement, and critical thinking skills
- Entrepreneurial and self-starting mentality and ability to thrive with ambiguity
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact professionally with all levels of management, brand partners and outside vendors. Able to mobilize others to achieve results.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or similar area required.
