Boston Children's Hospital Trust is the philanthropic resource for the hospital which provides vital funds to support our cutting edge research, community outreach, patient family programs and medical education. The Channel Marketing Specialist will assist the Trust's communications channel team in their planning and execution of multichannel fundraising programs and campaigns. The Specialist will be instrumental in the analytics for communications initiatives, assisting in the tracking of results, and in the analysis of campaigns for ongoing optimization. This role will manage and improve the over-arching program calendars and other tracking documentation. Working closely with project managers and channel experts, they work to see that email, social media, print, signage and other channel plans are implemented, tracked, and reported. Will also contribute to the implementation of paid search programs, as well as other channels. This role reports to the Senior Director of Donor Communications. This Channel Marketing Specialist will: Manage an over-arching communications-wide calendar for all initiatives in collaboration with project management and channel experts. Coordinate the development of overview and detailed channel plans, working with channel subject matter experts and project managers. Own the production of wrap-up reports for all communications programs and campaigns, coordinating with channel owners for specific documents. Strong focus on data analytics related to all channels - ensuring the tracking and tagging for campaign and other reporting, pulling reports as requested, gather reporting requirements, partnering with technology teams. Manage various tracking documentation including donation form tracking and other documents as needed. Oversee paid search program with our external agency partner. Collaborate with our Project Management and Communication team resources to improve our planning and implementation processes. Responsible for day-to-day channel team budget management. To qualify, you must have: BA degree plus at least 3 years' experience in marketing, media, communications, fundraising, or related field in an enterprise. General knowledge of marketing and advertising principles and channels. Demonstrated experience with digital and/or marketing data analytics. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with other staff. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of multi-channel marketing, fundraising, and promotion. Experience with data analytics as used to measure effectiveness of programs and campaigns in driving revenue and/or engagement. Great attention to detail and organizational skills with an eager to learn mindset. Experience with using Smartsheets, Excel and/or project management software to track deliverables, deadlines, and other milestones. Experience with Adobe Analytics and deep Smartsheet expertise is preferred. Experience with paid search and process improvement is also preferred.
