We are offering an opportunity for a UI/UX Designer to join our team in the Financial Services industry, based in New York, New York, 10007-2277, United States. This role involves creating user-centered experiences and visually engaging designs that simplify complex workflows within the financial services sector. This contract to permanent position will require the successful candidate to collaborate with various team members to bring their designs to life, fostering a cohesive vision across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design vision and execution across products, transforming complex financial data into intuitive and visually engaging experiences.
• Develop interactive experiences, data visualizations, and high-fidelity designs that drive customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and other designers.
• Use prototyping, wireframes, and testing to validate your ideas and ensure designs meet user needs at every stage.
• Leverage data insights and research findings to make informed data-driven design decisions.
• Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to gather insights and build alignment across stakeholders and end-users.
• Show proficiency with Figma, Axure, Adobe CS, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Apply and maintain cohesive design standards across products using knowledge of design systems.
• Translate complex concepts into accessible, visually compelling designs.
• Connect the dots across the entire customer journey, setting strategic goals, and driving impactful results.• Proven experience in UI/UX Design within the Financial Services industry
• Strong customer service skills, able to effectively communicate with stakeholders
• Proficient in conducting research and translating insights into compelling content
• Demonstrated expertise in design and implementation of user interfaces
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies
• Ability to create cohesive and visually compelling UX prototypes
• Proficiency in data visualization and data-driven decision making
• Experience with end-to-end project management, from concept to implementation
• Proficiency in using Figma for design tasks
• Ability to align design strategies with strategic goals
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or design tools is a plus
