Job Description

The Brand + Marketing Coordinator will work to support all business development, brand initiatives, Company communication, and marketing pursuits.  This team-player will be expected to use their artistic and technical skills to develop creative, strategic graphic solutions that are on-brand, on-time, and on budget.  In addition to working with graphics in digital and print form, you will also be involved in creating, molding, and refining messaging and content across various platforms and presentations. 


Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and manage all Company marketing and brand materials.
  • Support the Director of Pre-Construction with the creation and development of various types of materials and messaging for distribution to current and potential clients.
  • Be a sounding board and idea generator for various creative needs across the Company.
  • Responsible for compiling and organizing the Company’s project and team content to prepare high-quality responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).  Ensuring compliance with all submission criteria and client requirements.
  • Develop graphics and layouts for various applications (letterhead, business cards, stationary, swag, apparel, event material, team & client gear, etc.)
  • Track, research and develop action items for major project pursuits, project wins, grand opening/ribbon cuttings, conferences, sponsorships, and other events that are important to a project or a client.
  • Create materials and messaging to promote Company events and activities.
  • Manage and oversee regular posting of Company content through email campaigns and social media platforms.
  • Ensure website contains up-to-date photographs and information relating to completed construction projects and personnel.
  • Coordinate with various consultants that support marketing and business development pursuits and needs.
  • Take photos and video content of company events, client events, new hires, and project sites, as needed or requested.
  • Manage and monitor the yearly Marketing budget(s).
  • Support Leadership and Get Work team with various special projects as assigned. 

 

Qualifications

  • Proven knowledge and experience with graphic design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of marketing collateral in a way that aligns with Company objectives and strategies.
  • Must be proficient in basic design software, such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop (the following would be considered additional skillsets: SketchUp, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Premier, and After Effects), as well as Microsoft suite of programs, including PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
  • Highly effective at writing on-brand messaging, project stories, and technical responses, as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Effective communicator and ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Photography, Art, or similar field of study preferred.

  • This position is located in Topeka, Kansas.
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
