Mixed Methods UX Researcher
to join our studio and lead user research projects across various domains and platforms, including focusing primarily on Copilot.

Responsibilities
Plan, design, and conduct user research activities such as quantitative surveys, usability tests, diary studies, and interviews.
Partner closely with key stakeholders across design, engineering, data science, and leadership to establish trust and deliver actionable insights in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Analyze and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative user data and insights to inform design decisions and strategy.
Communicate and present research findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders, including product teams, senior management, and external clients.
Mentor and coach other researchers and designers on user research methods and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver user-centric digital solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 4+ years User Experience Research experience
OR Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 3+ years User Experience Research experience
OR Doctorate in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 1+ year(s) User Experience Research experience
OR equivalent experience.
Proficiency in a variety of user research methods and tools, such as qualitative and quantitative analysis, remote and in-person testing, prototyping, and data visualization.
Experience with online survey platforms, such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, or Microsoft Forms.
A portfolio of user research projects that demonstrate your impact and process.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 8+ years User Experience Research experience

3+ years relevant domain experience within technology sector.
3+ years experience in research methods impacting both product direction and detailed experience design.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

UX Research IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
