Senior Manager of Marketing-Federal Civilian Sector Campaigns

ManTech is seeking a strategic marketing professional to join the ManTech marketing team as the Federal Civilian campaign lead strategist. In this role, you will create and implement ManTech’s high-tech, high-end systems engineering and emerging tech innovation and capabilities with current and future government clients, focusing on campaign development and execution supporting the growing Federal Civilian sector market for ManTech. Help to make a personal impact to ManTech’s brand and business growth by supporting the development, delivery and execution of high-impact, integrated marketing campaigns for the Federal Civilian Sector.
The Marketing Senior Manager will be a passionate, go-getter who is excited about developing and implementing plans to engage target audiences and spread the message about topics ranging from high-tech, high-end systems engineering and emerging tech capabilities to consulting practices and company news. The ideal candidate should have a track record of success in the government contracting sector as a communications and marketing expert with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for leveraging digital technology to expand the reach of company messaging to the marketplace and workforce.
This role will be based in our headquarters office in Herndon, VA and will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. While aligning to the sales/growth/strategic needs of the Growth Vice President, you will also contribute to the development, execution, measures of success of marketing and brand strategy for our federal civilian sector agencies.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to:
Create and execute compelling high-impact marketing campaigns aligned to strategic goals that engage and influence government clients and prospects
Identify marketing opportunities and develop and execute campaign deliverables
Write content for cross-channel marketing communications to include webpage and social media, thought leadership, briefings, video scripts and other marketing collateral
Consult and manage outside vendors and marketing agencies to execute content program showcasing innovation at ManTech
Establish consultative relationships with program subject matter experts, business development and capture teams, and program leadership
Lead and support special projects as required
Support ManTech speakers at industry events and secure speaking engagements or speaker sponsorships to increase ManTech Subject Matter Experts visibility in the industry
Coordinate with MarCom design team on brand adherence.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field) and at least 10 years of related experience
Experience in federal civilian marketing, technology marketing, government contracting market, and business-to-government (B2G) or business-to-business (B2B) marketing
Experience performing marketing and communications for Government contracting firm(s)
Ability to collaborate and drive high-performing results through a matrixed team
Experience in developing and executing cross-channel marketing campaigns
Experience using digital marketing tools
Experience writing and editing webpages, articles, white papers, and other marketing collateral
Experience working with vendors and agencies
Strong writing, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills
Detail-oriented and results and impact focused
Security Clearance Requirements:
No clearance is required. Must be eligible to obtain up to a Secret clearance if needed.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
Constantly operates a computer (including electronic productivity software and tools), mobile phone and other IT peripherals
